By Leon Logothetis I started my journey from Atlanta to Tampa this morning and gave up all my personal possessions: cell phone, wallet and much of the sanity I have left…My first attempt at getting closer to Tampa was a total failure. I struck up a replica cartier Pasha C Chronograph watches conversation with a local cabbie who actually agreed to drive me all the way to Tampa. Unfortunately, it seemed that his English was severely lacking and when I explained that I only had $5 his friendly smile quickly turned to a scowl and he insisted I stop wasting his time. That went well I thought to myself…Things could only get better.
They did. Much better! I bumped into a lovely Georgian native called Sommer who agreed to give me a lift to her local city of Macon, about 100 miles south of Atlanta and buy me a scrumptious lunch. I insisted on paying $5 for gas so that I could at least feel that I was giving something back. The real fun and games began when I arrived in her hometown. Firstly, we met her brother Matt, who was teaching kids how to play baseball at a replica cartier Pasha de Cartier watches local high school. I begged him to let me show him my skills; unfortunately for him he agreed! Firstly, I accidentally threw the ball into a nearby forest and secondly I nearly decapitated him when he threw me a curve ball which I then smashed back at him. For some reason he abruptly ended our training session and suggested that we go back to his house and fire some of his guns.
I was hoping this was not a Freudian slip concerning his desire to repay me for my baseball indiscretions…It turned out that Matt had something else in mind for me: Firing his bow and arrow! I relished this opportunity, but unfortunately things did not go as planned yet again. He set up a target and gave me two arrows to fire. I missed replica cartier Pasha de Cartier Chronograph watches the target and lost both arrows in the forest (each arrow cost $6 so I am now in the hole for $12). Even after I tried to decapitate him and lost his prized arrows, he and his family kindly offered to put me up for the night and then took me out to a Mexican restaurant for dinner. Long live the generous people of the good ol U-S-A! Tomorrow I am off on the next leg of my journey to the Super Bowl… I want to thank Sommer, Matt and their entire family. They have treated me with amazing grace. Leon Logothetis is host of Fox Realitys Amazing Adventures of a Nobody.
